Severe Weather Season approaches

As we enter Spring the threat of severe weather increases. There are outdoor warning sirens located in Princeton at the Mercer County Courthouse and one at the Mercer Community Building in Mercer. These sirens will sound whenever Mercer County is under a tornado warning or there is radar indicated cloud based rotation in Mercer County.  The sirens are tested on the First Saturday of every month at 12:30 PM. Not to be confused with the Mercer County Fire Protection District Siren to signal a fire. Only the siren located in Princeton will sound in an up & down repeating tone. ​ You can click the image below to play the Fire Siren.
